Can I Stop External Drives From Spinning Down So Soon?

spin wdMost newer consumer drives are rated for 300k loadunload cycles (spinning upspinning down). Enterprise drives 600k. And with the timeout built in, obviously drives are made to endureI have a 4 TB WD Elements desktop external drive. I think this drive is set to pose downspin down after a period of non-use, correct? If so, is it possible to turn off that capability?
